CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – A man was stabbed to death at a construction site on Old Russellville Pike Tuesday morning.
At about 9:39 a.m., Clarksville Police received a 911 call through the language line reporting an assault that had already occurred in the 1600 block of Old Russellville Pike, according to Officer Scott Beaubien. Two workers were involved in an argument that escalated, resulting in one of them being stabbed.
The victim was transported to Tennova Healthcare-Clarksville, where he was later pronounced dead. The name of the victim is being withheld pending notification of the next of kin.
The suspect remained at the scene and was present when officers arrived. Cristian Noe Moreno-Hernandez, 24, of Springfield, was charged with homicide and booked into the Montgomery County Jail without bond.
Homicide and crime scene detectives responded, and the incident remains under investigation.
