CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – (CLARKSVILLENOW) Clarksville Police were dispatched to a reported shooting at 5:09 a.m. Saturday at a home on Patton Road, a residential street near Needmore Road.
Officers located a deceased white male inside the residence. An individual has been detained at the scene.
The residence, as well as the junction of Patton Road and Eisenhower Road, has been secured with crime scene tape.
At 6:45 a.m. patrol officers were holding the scene while awaiting arrival of Special Operations Unit homicide detectives and the crime scene team.
“This was an isolated incident,” Shift Sergeant Nathan Vanatta said. “There is no evidence that the community is in any danger from this incident.”
