Man shot in chest at Tippers nightclub in north Clarksville

A man was shot in the chest at a nightclub Saturday night in north Clarksville.

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – A man was shot in the chest at a nightclub overnight Saturday in north Clarksville.

At about 12:35 a.m., Clarksville Police responded to Tippers, 1481 Tiny Town Road, according to police spokesman Officer Scott Beaubien. There was a fight in progress and one person received a gunshot wound to the lower chest area. He was flown to Nashville by Lifeflight helicopter.

Members of CPD’s Crime Scene Unit are processing the scene and detectives are asking for anyone with information to call 911.
