CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Michael Flippen, Jr. has been sentenced to serve 20 years in prison for the fatal shooting of 32-year-old Princess Clark.
The shooting occurred in 2015 at Clark’s home on Cranklen Circle. Clark died from her injuries after she was shot in the back through the door of the home.
Shortly after the crime, Flippen turned himself in and was initially charged with criminal homicide and reckless endangerment.
According to court documents, Flippen entered an open plea to the charge of second degree murder. Other charges were dropped as a result of the plea deal.
On June 6, 2017, Flippen was sentenced to 20 years in prison with a pretrial jail credit of nearly two years.
