Update, Aug. 19, 12:29 p.m.: Franklin Luppe has been located, according an update from the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office. Luppe’s family expressed their thanks to all who assisted in his safe return home.

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – A search was on Tuesday afternoon for a man missing from his Adams home.

Franklin Luppe, 83, was last seen Tuesday morning in the 1000 block of North Stroudsville Road, in east Montgomery County, wearing blue jeans and a brown Polo shirt, according to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.

He is 5 feet, 10 inches tall, weighs 150 pounds, with gray hair and brown eyes. According to his family, Luppe has health issues and did not take his medication Tuesday morning.

Anyone who has seen him is asked to call 911 immediately.
