CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – A man was life-flighted to Vanderbilt Hospital following a shooting this morning in Clarksville.

According to a news release, the Clarksville Police Department responded to a residence on Cinderella Lane at approximately 9:42 a.m. in response to a domestic-related shooting.

When officers arrived, they found a 21-year-old male with a gunshot wound to the head. He was taken to Tennova Healthcare and later flown by a life-flight helicopter to Vanderbilt Hospital. His status is unknown at this time.

The Clarksville Police Department currently has a 17-year-old juvenile in custody.

Police are not authorized to release the names of juveniles charged with crimes. This is still an ongoing investigation, and police said no other information is available for release at this time.
