WOODLAWN, Tenn. – A man was killed in a single-vehicle crash Monday afternoon when his truck hit a tree in Woodlawn.
WKRN News 2 reports that James Richardson, 68, was driving a GMC pickup truck on Lake Road around 2 p.m. when his vehicle left the roadway. The truck went into a ditch, hit a tree, and traveled partially back onto the road.
Richardson died at the scene. Tennessee Highway Patrol said alcohol was not a factor and Richardson was wearing his seatbelt.
