CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – A motorcycle rider was killed in a crash Sunday night on Mckenzie Dr.
Clarksville police said the 30-year-old Christopher Howes of Clarksville lost control of the motorcycle for an unknown reason around 9:30 p.m. and struck the surface of the roadway.
The rider and motorcycle skidded off the road and struck a vehicle parked in the driveway at 3800 block of Mckenzie Dr. The rider was not wearing a helmet.
He was transported to Tennova where he was pronounced dead.
Police said speed was a factor in the crash.
