MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Tenn. – An Adams man was killed in a single vehicle crash Wednesday afternoon on Highway 76 in Montgomery County.
According to a report from Tennessee Highway Patrol, 73-year-old Michael B. Mannion was driving a 1998 Chevrolet Corvette west on Highway 76 around 3 p.m. when he lost control of the car on a curve.
The car ran off the right side of the road, then crossed the double lines to the left side of the road before going back to the right side of the road and into a ditch.
Mannion was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected from the vehicle.
Officials have not yet determined whether drugs or alcohol were factors in the crash.
