CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – A man charged in a crash that killed a 25-year-old motorcyclist in May 2018 has been indicted by the October session of the Montgomery County Grand Jury.
Benjamin Tyler Wilson, 22, has been indicted on charges of vehicular homicide, DUI, and failure to yield. He has been indicted on five separate counts.
According to Clarksville police, around 1:30 a.m. on May 20, Wilson was driving a Ford Focus and tried to make a left turn from N. 2nd Street to Riverside Drive. He failed to yield to an oncoming motorcycle driving south on Providence Blvd. when the vehicles collided.
The motorcyclist, identified as 25-year-old Diamond Dillard, died at the scene.
A new court date has not yet been set.
