CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Another suspect has been indicted by the Montgomery County Grand Jury in connection to the death of Julian Torres in May 2018.
Rasheem Lewis, 27, was indicted by the October 2018 Grand Jury on first degree murder charges. The warrant was served Thursday in Nashville. He was later booked into the Montgomery County Jail.
It is unclear what role Lewis played in Torres’ death.
The first suspect in the case, Timothy Ogburn, was indicted on charges of premeditated murder earlier this month. He is also a suspect in the murder of Tanesha Hardy in May.
21-year-old Julian Torres was found lying in the street with a gunshot wound behind a tobacco store on Providence Blvd. on May 19, 2018. He was transported to the hospital where he later died from his injuries.
