SCOTTSVILLE, Ky. – Timothy Madden, the man accused of kidnapping, raping and killing a 7-year-old Kentucky girl, was indicted by a grand jury Friday morning, according to WKRN News 2.
According to his lawyer, Travis Lock, Madden will be arraigned on January 13 in Allen County Circuit Court.
Madden, 38, faces charges of kidnapping, rape, sodomy and murder in Gabriella “Gabbi” Doolin’s death.
The girl was reported missing around 7:40 p.m. on Nov. 14 during a little league game at Allen County Scottsville High School, about 65 miles southeast of Nashville. She was found dead less than 30 minutes later in a small stream of water nearby the school.
According to an arrest warrant, Gabbi was raped, manually strangled, and drowned.
“Biological evidence,” or DNA, found on her body is what led police to Madden, the warrant states.
Madden remains jailed on a $1 million bond.
