CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – A man was cited for multiple traffic offenses after crashing into a building Friday night in Clarksville.
According to a police report, Jamie L. Knight, 26, was traveling at a high rate of speed on Washington St. around 9 p.m. when he lost control of his vehicle and crashed into a building at 525 Cumberland Dr., causing significant damage to the structure.
The report states that drugs and alcohol were not involved and there were no passengers in the vehicle.
Knight was injured and transported to Gateway Medical Center for treatment.
He was cited for having no drivers license or proof of insurance, reckless driving, and unlawful removal of registration decal or plate.
