CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – One person received a citation after Clarksville police busted an underage drinking party over the weekend.

According to Clarksville Police Department spokesman Jim Knoll, emergency personnel received a call about a fight in the front yard of an Alfred Drive home Friday, September 14 around 10:15 p.m.

When officers arrived, they found a teen lying in the front yard who was transported to the hospital for excessive alcohol consumption. It is unclear what condition the juvenile was in at the time.

Police discovered that several teens between the ages of 14 and 16 were drinking inside the home.

The adult who was present at the time, 58-year-old Benjamin Miller, was cited for contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Police said additional charges are possible.

The parents of the teens were notified and asked to pick the children up from the party. None of the teens were cited.
