CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – A man who stabbed someone at a bowling center then fled the scene crashed his car and was arrested Friday night.

Clarksville Police arrested 27-year-old Ralphale Armstrong and charged him with two counts of aggravated assault, according to CPD spokesman Scott Beaubien.

At about 10:52 p.m., police responded to a stabbing at the Pinnacle Family Entertainment Center on Warfield Boulevard. Witnesses said that during an argument, two people were stabbed by Armstrong, who was then chased out of the business by several patrons, Beaubien said. The stabbing victims’ injuries do not appear to be life-threatening.

Moments after fleeing the scene, Armstrong lost control of his vehicle, crashed into a telephone pole and overturned near Rossview Road and Bellamy Lane, Beaubien said.

Two juvenile passengers were in the car with Armstrong. They were not involved in the initial altercation and had only minor injuries. They were evaluated and released to their parents.

In addition to aggravated assault, Armstrong is facing charges of vehicular assault, driving under the influence, reckless driving, open container, and possession without a prescription.

This is an ongoing investigation and is now pending prosecution. Anyone with information or additional video footage is asked to please contact Detective Lockerman at 931-648-0656, ext. 5299.
