CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – One man has been charged with tampering with evidence as part of the investigation into Wednesday night’s shooting at 1006 College Street.

According to Clarksville Police, Jackie Dewayne Davis, 29, was seen on video surveillance picking up items off the ground, believed to be shell casings, and removing them from the scene before police arrived. After further review of the video footage, several shell casings were believed to be missing from the scene.

 

Davis was booked into the Montgomery County Jail with a bond of $250,000.
