CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – A Clarksville man has been charged in connection to a crash that killed three young people on Ashland City Rd. in September of 2017.

Jeffrey Joiner, 45, was arrested Friday, May 18 and charged with three counts of vehicular homicide, three counts of driving under the influence, failure to maintain control, and speeding.

According to a preliminary report, a pickup truck driven by Joiner was heading southbound on Highway 12 when he crossed the center line and struck a car driven by 20-year-old Megan Black.

Joiner was injured. Black and two passengers, 19-year-old Shayna Williams and 21-year-old Randall Pierce, were killed.
