CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – A pedestrian was injured after being struck by a vehicle on Fort Campbell Blvd. near Ringgold Rd. around 3 a.m. Sunday.

According to Officer Natalie Hall with the Clarksville Police Department, the victim was transported by LifeFlight to Vanderbilt Medical Center with injuries that appeared to be non life threatening.

The driver has been identified as 26-year-old Jordan Victor Butts of Clarksville. He has been charged with vehicular assault, DUI, leaving the scene of an accident, and driving on a revoked or suspended license.

Police did not say what Butts was under the influence of at the time of the crash. He was booked into the Montgomery County Jail on a $65,000 bond.
