CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) -A man was arrested and charged with drinking and driving after wrecking his car.
Clarksville Police officers responded to a single-vehicle crash on Ashland City Road and Queens Bluff Way on Monday, Jan 20 around 2:15 p.m.,
According to police reports, Seth Anderson, 24, was driving a 2014 Nissan south on Ashland City Road when a car suddenly stopped in front of him. Anderson took evasive actions and veered off the right side of the roadway into a ditch. His car flipped several times before coming to a stop.
During the investigation, officers detected the odor of an alcoholic beverage on Anderson and slurred speech.
After administering standardized field sobriety tests, Seth Anderson was booked into the Montgomery County Jail and charged with DUI. His bond was set at $500.
Anderson was uninjured.
The crash investigator was Officer Riley.
