CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) —- Clarksville Police arrested a man after he allegedly used counterfeit money to purchase food at a local fast-food restaurant.

Cyle J. Andrew purchased food in the drive through of a local fast-food restaurant on Monday, Sept. 23. An employee reported Andrew used a counterfeit  $20 bill and $10 bill when he paid. The employee noted the vehicle description and tag number of the car Andrew was in and reported it to police.

CPD Officer Skidmore was able to identify Andrew from the restaurant’s surveillance video and the vehicle tag came back registered to him.

On Wednesday, September 25, Andrew’s car was found parked at a local motel. Inside the car in plain view, there was a color printer, glass crack pipe and what appeared to be crumpled up money.

Officers tracked down Andrew to his motel room where they found a color printer, linen paper, and other forged denominations of money. Also, it was determined he paid for the room and the printer belonged to him.

Cyle Andrew, 28, was booked into the Montgomery County Jail and charged with criminal simulation and forgery. He was issued a citation for the drug paraphernalia. His bond was set at $35,000.
