CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – A man was arrested Saturday in Clarksville after attempted to fire an automatic weapon at another man.
According to an arrest warrant, the victim told police he was in the garage of his home on Aurora Dr. when the suspect, Tamonda Hill, pulled up in front of his house. He then exited his vehicle holding an AK-47.
The suspect pulled the trigger in an attempt to shoot the victim but the gun did not fire and the victim ran inside the house.
Another witness said Hill and another individual fled the scene in their vehicle.
Hill, 23, was arrested and charged with aggravated assault. He was booked into the Montgomery County Jail on $50,000 bond. His arrest warrant states he did not have a gun permit.
