MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Tenn. – A man was arrested at a home in Montgomery County Wednesday morning after police executed a search warrant for a residence on Jared Court.

Trooper Stu Recke with Kentucky State Police (KSP) said the arrest was the result of a stolen property investigation in Kentucky. A KSP detective reported his cruiser had been broken into and an undetermined amount of KSP-issued property was missing.

KSP obtained a search warrant for a home in Madisonville, Ky., which led them to a home on Jared Ct. in Montgomery County.

Investigators contacted the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) and executed a search warrant for theft by unlawful taking. The suspect was taken into custody.

Recke said the stolen property has not yet been recovered. There is no further information at this time.
