CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – A Clarksville man was arrested July 2 for allegedly firing a gun at his ex-girlfriend.

According to the arrest warrant, the victim went to the home of her ex-boyfriend, 47-year-old Corby Blouvet II, on Old Clarksville Pike to retrieve her keys. She was unable to find her keys but did locate her gun, which she took with her when she left.

She told police that when she tried to leave, Blouvet arrived and blocked her vehicle with his truck. The suspect went inside the house and came back out armed with a pistol. He fired several shots toward the victim, three of which hit the passenger side of the vehicle.

The victim fled the scene and called police.

Blouvet has a prior criminal conviction and served time for an armed robbery and other felony charges.

He was arrested and charged with aggravated assault and unlawful possession of a weapon. His bond was set at $10,000.
