CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – A local man was arrested on charges of promoting prostitution and promoting meth manufacture during a recent police investigation.

Adam Shane West, 29, arrived at a hotel parking lot on February 6 after females in his company agreed on a set price for sexual favors with three detectives, according to the warrant.

West admitted to knowing about the activity and transporting the women to that location. He also stated that he was aware of a backpage.com ad placed by one of the women which contained suggestive photos.

A glass pipe was also found in West’s wallet along with eight Sudafed tablets and two partially stripped batteries, all of which are commonly used in meth manufacture. He is currently on probation for meth manufacture.

West was booked into the Montgomery County Jail on a $50,000 Bond.
