CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – An Antioch man has been charged with kidnapping and robbing a man in 2013.
According to an arrest warrant, the victim had set up a meeting with Ricky Lawrence at Governor’s Square Mall in September of 2013.
When Lawrence arrived he called the victim and asked him to meet him outside. The victim got into the car with Lawrence and a passenger known to him only as “Tone”.
The warrant says that Lawrence locked the doors to prevent the victim from getting out and drove towards I-24 while “Tone” pulled out a gun and pointed it at the victim. He allegedly demanded the victim give him his Casio watch and Nike Air Jordan shoes.
Lawrence then drove the victim to I-24 eastbound, pulled over, and ordered to the victim to get out of the car.
“Tone” was recently identified as Antonio Dante Edmondson. He is a convicted felon and is currently on probation in Davidson County.
Edmondson was arrested Feb. 13, 2016 and charged with aggravated robbery, kidnapping, and convicted felon going armed. His bond was set at $225,000.
Charges for Lawrence had been previously dropped.
