CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLAKRSVILLENOW)- A Clarksville man has been arrested after a concerned citizen reported seeing the man strike a small child.
According to an arrest warrant a concerned citizen called the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office on April 10 saying he just witnessed a small child being punched by an adult male.
The male was later identified as Edward A. Hawk. The caller stated that immediately after the child was struck the child was limping and screaming in pain.
Edward Hawk was arrested on July 1, 2016 and charged with child abuse and neglect or endangerment. His bond was set for $5,000 and has been released.
