MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Tenn. – Clarksville-Montgomery County students are back to class today after a total of seven days off due to cold and snow.
Elise Shelton, Communications Director for CMCSS, said last week that the School Board has five built-in forgiveness days. Students will not have to make up those days that are in place.
However, if more than five days are missed before TCAP testing begins, the current policy states that students will have to make up the days by staying an additional 30 minutes each day until the time is accounted for.
The School Board has not yet announced how the students will have to make up the other two days they missed.
Teachers are only given three forgiveness days and must make up any beyond that, according to Shelton.
