Nashville, Tenn. (WKRN) – – The Lyrid Meteor Shower will peak tonight, with the best viewing time a few hours before dawn Sunday.

18-20 meteors per hour are possible.

The meteors will appear to originate from just above the star “Vega” in the constellation Lyra which will be high in the eastern sky.

The question is:  Will any clouds obstruct the view?

We are expecting rain on Sunday, so there could be some high clouds during the pre-sunrise hours, but it’s worth taking a look!
