FORT CAMPBELL, KY (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – The Fort Campbell Independence Day Celebration, happening Tuesday, July 4, will feature a concert by Lynyrd Skynyrd and Stone Temple Pilots and special guest Cassadee Pope.
All the events will be at Division Parade Field, according to Fort Campbell Morale Welfare and Recreation. Activities will begin with gates opening and food trucks at 4 p.m. The Kids Zone will also open at 4 p.m. and run through 8 p.m. for a $5 fee. The 101st Airborne Division Ceremony will be held at 5 p.m.

The evening’s music begins with a concert at 6 p.m. featuring Lynyrd Skynyrd, Stone Temple Pilots and special guest Cassadee Pope.
The event is free and open to the public. Non-DoD ID card holders will need to enter post through the TC Freeman Gate 4, or Gate 7. Please follow the signs and directions at the gates for DoD and Non-DoD ID card holders.
Be prepared to show your vehicle registration, proof of insurance and a valid photo ID for each person, and all vehicles entering the installation are subject to be searched. Non-DoD ID card holders arriving at Gates 4 and 7 before 3 p.m. will require a visitor’s pass.
Patrons are welcome to bring blankets, folding chairs, and safe light-up toys to enhance the event and families are encouraged to dress in their favorite patriotic outfit. Sunscreen, hats, and bug spray are recommended, and umbrellas can be used for shade until 5:30 p.m. when they must be put away. No personal fireworks, firearms, outside alcohol, glass bottles, pets or grills are allowed.
