FORT CAMPBELL, KY (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – This year’s Week of the Eagles celebration at Fort Campbell will feature a free concert by Lynyrd Skynyrd.
The Southern rock standard bearers, known for such hits as “Sweet Home Alabama,” “Free Bird,” “Simple Man” and “Gimme Three Steps,” will perform on May 21, according to an announcement from Fort Campbell MWR.
The concert at the Division Parade Field will be free, but open only to soldiers and military families, who must present their DoD ID cards.
Some rules for the show: No outside food or drink, food and beverages will be available for purchase, must be 21 to consume alcohol, no pets, youth 17 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
The time of the show hasn’t yet been determined, and more Week of the Eagles events will soon be announced.
