Nov. 6 Election Day: What you need to know
It is estimated that over 15 million people were registered but didn’t vote in 2016 because of transportation issues.
In Montgomery County during the 2016 Presidential race, just under 54 percent of eligible voters cast ballots in the election, though it’s not known how many non-voters had transportation issues.
Lyft is providing 50% off rides across the country, and free rides to underserved communities that face significant obstacles to transportation.
