Lucy “Margaret” Lewis, 71 of Erin, Tenn. passed away Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at her residence.

Margaret was born September 14, 1949 in Erin, the daughter to the late George Earl and Avis Walker. She was a faithful member of Arlington Cumberland Presbyterian Church, where she taught Sunday School.

Lewis retired from Clegherns Grocery after 32 years of service. She had a passion for cake decorating and preparing floral arrangements.

In addition to her parents, Margaret was preceded in death by her siblings, Jim and G.T. Walker, Martha Nell and Jeannie Lewis.

Survivors include her loving husband, Terry Lewis; daughter, Yvette (Shane) Clark; brother, John (Cathy) Walker; sisters, Joanne (Jim) McGovern, Nancy Torbett; sister-in-law, Lavelle Walker and many nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind her precious grandchildren, Adam (Aleena) Martin, Daniel Martin and Cassie Clark.

A celebration of her life will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, June 3, 2021 at the Chapel of Nave Funeral Home with Bro. Paul Moody officiating. Burial will follow in McMillan Cemetery. Family will receive friends on Wednesday from 4 to 8:00 p.m., and again from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service.

Serving as pallbearers will be Randy Lewis, Jeff Lewis, Bradley Walker, Kyle Porter, Adam Martin, Daniel Martin, Colby Lewis and Tommy Collier. Honorary pallbearers are Jay Hill, Kerry Walker, Houston Lewis and Neyland Lewis.
