CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Lows tonight will dip below freezing to about 26 degrees, according to the National Weather Service. In response, the Emergency Warming Shelter will open in the gym at Madison Street United Methodist Church, 319 Madison St., with help from Manna Cafe Ministries and Urban Ministries.

The doors will open today (Wednesday) and Thursday, at 4 p.m. daily to allow guests to shower and to get a clean set of clothes, a hot meal and a warm place to sleep. Everyone will need to leave by 8 a.m. daily.
