CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – The Clarksville Area Chamber of Commerce has cut a ribbon with Love Is Pink as a new member of the Clarksville Area Chamber of Commerce. Owner Sonya Evans, who is a breast cancer survivor, said the store is for women who are going through breast cancer or are breast cancer survivors.

“A lot of times people don’t know about lymphedema. When you’re going through cancer, and you have to have surgery a lot of times you get lymphedema as the swelling. Some women get it in their breast area, their arms, their legs, it’s something that’s ongoing,” Evans said.

Evans added that they carry certain compression garments to help to manage that swelling and they also have bras for women who have had a single or a double mastectomy to help with those health issues.

Love Is Pink is at 120 Franklin St., inside the City Market at Suite 112, and they are primarily open by appointment.
