CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – (CLARKSVILLENOW) Loaves & Fishes is hosting its 9th Annual Louisiana Saturday Night on October 13 from 4:30 to 7 p.m.

This is your chance to enjoy an authentic Cajun style meal and help feed those who are hungry in Clarksville-Montgomery County.

The event, which is a fundraiser for the organization, will take place at the Loaves & Fishes kitchen at the First Presbyterian Church Activities Center on the corner of Foster and North 3rd Streets. Tickets are $15 in advance or at the door and you can dine-in or carry out.

The menu includes chicken, smoke sausage gumbo, rice, slaw, role, praline, a drink and new this year is bread pudding. There will be seating inside and outside at the Gumbo Shack, and of course for carry out a drive-thru will be available.

Loaves & Fishes has been feeding hungry people in Clarksville-Montgomery County for over 30 years and serves a mid-day meal six days a week which equals to about 50,000 meals a year. The organization is always in need of food and financial donations along with volunteers.
