Louise Matthews Alexander, age 79 of Clarksville, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 17, 2017 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
Louise was born September 7, 1937 in Dyersburg, TN to the late William Matthews and Mildred Brown Darnell.
Louise was a retired instrument technician with Sumner Regional Medical Center and a member of Discover Life Church of God.
Celebration of Life Service will be held Friday, January 20, at 3:30 PM, at the Chapel of Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home, with Pastor Paul Nolan and Sister Betty Coghill officiating. Visitation will be Friday, January 20, from 1:00 PM until the time of service, at the funeral home. Committal will be Saturday, January 21, at 9:00 AM, at Crestview Memorial Gardens (1623 Old Highway 109 North, Gallatin, TN 37066).
Louise is survived by her son, Phillip Alexander of Gallatin, TN; daughter, Phyllis (Larry) Bannister of Clarksville, TN; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
