Louise Mitchel Marlowe, 92, of Clarksville, TN, died Saturday, January 25, 2014 at Gateway Medical Center. She was born February 17, 1921 in Los Angeles, CA to the late Glen Mitchel, Sr. and Charlotte Clayton Mitchel.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
Louise was a retired school teacher and lived most of her life in Lexington, KY.
She is survived by her son, Mark (Nancy) Marlowe of Gainesville, GA; two daughters, Charmaine Marlowe of New York City, NY and Niesha (Rod) Wolfe of Clarksville, TN; two brothers, Glen Mitchel, Jr. of Montecito, CA and George (Susan) Mitchel of Los Angeles, CA; four grandchildren, Mark (Laura) Marlowe of Castle Rock, CO, Cord (Kelly) Marlowe of New York City, NY, Byron (Kris) Wolfe of Clarksville, TN, and Amanda (Jeff) Wittkopp of Savannah, GA; and two great grandchildren, Brett Marlowe and Cecelia Marlowe of Castle Rock, CO.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First Presbyterian Church, 213 Main Street, Clarksville, TN 37040.
