Louise B. Glass, age 87 of Clarksville, passed away Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at TriStar Hendersonville Medical Center.
She was born June 17, 1934 in Chipley, Fla. to the late Jerry Lee Bush and Cozetta Tharpe Bush. Louise worked for the Clarksville-Montgomery County School System and was a member of Grace Church of the Nazarene. She taught Sunday School to 2 and 3-year-old children for 35 years at First Assembly of God and was a foster grandparent at the Montgomery County Children’s Library.
Glass is survived by three children, Brenda Colley, Mike (Tammy) Glass and Carolyn (Robert) Albright; grandchildren, Sean Colley, Lindsey (Dan) Betterman, Candice (Jason) Leaverton, Jennifer (Brad) Hamaker, Sarah Albright and Leigh Ann Albright; adopted grandchildren, Ashley (Brendon) Anderson and Patty (Ashley) Moskalyk; great-grandchildren, Lauren Hamaker, Alyssa Leaverton, Alex Hamaker, Isaiah Betterman, Robert Betterman and Amanda Betterman and five sisters, Geraldine (Johnny) Walters, Lillian Davis, Pat Robinson, Barbara Williams and Judy Bush.
She was also preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, K.L. Glass; sister, Catherine Grantham; brothers, Carlton Bush and Charnett Eudon; son-in-law, Michael Colley and great-grandson, Logan Betterman.
A celebration of life service was held Saturday, June 26, at 3 p.m. with Pastor Rich Cook officiating. Burial followed at Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Visitations were held Friday, June 25 and Saturday, June 26 at the funeral home. Pallbearers were Mike Glass, Jason Leaverton, Bart Morris, Brendon Anderson, Ronnie Watts and Mike Moskalyk.
