Lottie Sweatt, age 79 of Clarksville, TN died Monday, September 16, 2013 at Gateway Medical Center.
Funeral service will be 5:00 p.m. Sunday, September 22, 2013 at Foston Funeral Home. Visitation will be Sunday, September 21, 2013 from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at the Foston Funeral Home.
She was born December 28, 1933 in Clarksville to the late Z. Edward and Goldean Collins Batson. She was a graduate of Burt High School Class of 1951. She was a member of First Missionary Baptist Church where she served on the Mothers Board. She retired from Palmyra Nursing Facility.
She is preceded in death by her daughter Jacqueline Sweatt and brother Edward Batson. She leaves to cherish her memory loving and devoted children, Victoria S. Bates Nashville, TN, Vida(Jenkins) Talley Burns, TN;grandchildren Felicia C. Sweatt, Deveraux Talley and Demtre(Amber) Talley; three great grandchildren;loving and devoted sister-in-law Thelma Batson and neice and nephew Tangala (Reggie) Flagg and Edward Batson II extended families, The Warrens Lena Ann, Charlise, Madson, Victor and Francine Henderson and a host of family and friends.
