CUNNINGHAM, Tenn. – (CLARKSBVILLENOW) Summer wouldn’t be the same in Montgomery County without the longest running community event in the area, the Lone Oak Picnic. The 111th Annual Lone Oak Picnic is set for Saturday, July 27 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
The event will be held at the Central Civitan Club building, 275 Highway 13, Alonzo Place in Cunningham, Tennessee.
The family fun event is hosted by the Central Civitans and features live music from father and son duo Back Lot Pickers and other musical guests. Enjoy the car cruise-in, silent auction, inflatables and other activities for children. Of course there will be plenty of delicious BBQ pork and chicken, as well as other food and drink for sale.
The event is free and open to the public with money raised from the sale of BBQ and the silent auction going to support local community projects.
