CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – The No Option Youth Shooting Team will host a Duck and Dove warm-up shoot this Saturday, August 26 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Montgomery County Shooting Complex.

Lunch will be provided. The cost is $90 per person, and under 18 is $60.

Team coach Bruce McGaha knows how important this fundraiser is for his team.

“This fundraiser helps us with the cost of running the team, and helps keep our parents’ costs down. It allows more kids to be a part of this team,” McGaha said. “Ammunition, targets, and tournament fees are just a few of the things we have to budget out each year. Each tournament alone averages around $3,500 to enter.”

The No Option Youth Shooting Team consists of 25 members made up of boys and girls from ages 9 to 18. The team brought home a championship last year in the AIM National Tournament, which is the official youth program of the Amateur Trapshooting Association. Anyone looking for more info about the team or this event should contact Bruce McGaha at 931-320-5555.
