CLARKSVILLE, TN – Aiden Myrick, who was born with spina bifida, has faced numerous surgeries, including a spinal fusion two years ago on World Spina Bifida Day 2023. Since then, he has worked through therapy to regain his strength and mobility, always with a smile and a sense of humor.
Aiden is a hockey fan and an avid supporter of the Nashville Predators. This year, on World Spina Bifida Day 2025, he will play in a sled hockey tournament with the Sled Preds at Ford Ice Center in Nashville.
World Spina Bifida Day raises awareness about spina bifida and hydrocephalus, which affect an estimated 166,000 people in the United States.
