CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Do your kids love Legos? Crave creativity? Want to learn more about robotics? Northeast Middle School’s Award Winning Electric Eagles Robotics Team will host a one day Jr. Robotics Camp from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 25.
Campers will participate in a day of activities including programming, building with several materials, team building games, and completing challenges with remote control robots.
The youngest campers will use paper programming to give the robots commands and camp staff will show them what their program looks like in action.
Older campers will build and program robots themselves and watch their creations complete tasks on the challenge board. Campers will be using Lego Mindstorms NXT robots for these activities.
During competitions, the Electric Eagles are judged on teamwork, problem solving and leadership skills in addition to robot design and programming.
So, just like the Electric Eagles do, campers will participate in fun team building games and work together in problem solving challenges to develop skills that will help them later in life.
The cost to attend the camp will be $30 per child. If you come with a friend, it is only $25 per child.
