NASHVILLE, Tenn. – On April 11th, several students from Montgomery County attended Congressman Blackburn’s inaugural Congressional Leadership Summit.
Selected by their school principals, these students spent the day at Columbia State Community College hearing from Rudy Kalis, Cordia Harrington, and Congressman Blackburn. The day focused on recognizing students’ leadership potential and ways to grow their leadership skills.
“I was honored to spend a day with these outstanding young leaders,” Congressman Blackburn said. “ Selected by their principals and school leaders, these students spent the day hearing from some of Tennessee’s most outstanding citizens, finding and polishing their leadership abilities, and learning from each other. The Congressional Leadership Summit was a day of great leadership growth and I look forward to seeing where these students go from here.”
Students selected from Montgomery County were: Caroline Clemments, Aubree Gauchat, Katelynn Missey, Alexandrea Rawlings, Samuel Adkins, Matthew Dahlke, Michael Kelley, Imani Largin, Kattie Salamy, Teryka Satcher, Isaac Vasquez, Hannah Byard, Channell Davis, Colton Douthitt, Ben Grayer, Benjamin McKinney, Madelyn Pulley, Shaina Camien, Ashley Chilcutt, Colin Crist, Rhett Timmons, Lindsay Williams, Megan Ziegenbein, Brandon Anderson, Catelynn Ellis, MacKenzie Jackson, and Esther Lee.
