CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – The All Star Cheerleaders of Clarksville will make their way to the Summit competition Friday, April 29.

The team is one of 900 chosen from across the globe to compete at the event.

The competitions will be held April 29-May 1.

“These cheerleaders are very determined, they work really hard and put in a lot of hours at a local gym each week,” said Monica Camacho. “Cheerleading is a sport that teaches our young athletes to learn manners, respect, discipline, time management and how to be a team player.”

All competing cheerleaders from Clarksville are under the age of 12.

The team will host a send-off party April 27 at 7:30 p.m. at Infinity Cheer of Tennessee on Kelly Lane. The public is invited to attend to show support for the girls.
