CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – A Go Fund Me account has been created for a Clarksville-Montgomery County School System (CMCSS) bus driver who was injured in a weekend crash on I-24.

According to a report from Tennessee Highway Patrol, Emanuel Dukes, 26, was traveling on I-24 Sunday night around 9:26 p.m. when he lost control of the 2002 Chevy Tahoe and flipped over near mile marker 9.

Dukes has been a bus driver for CMCSS for the past four years, according to the Go Fund Me post. His injuries will likely result in hefty medical bills, and friends and family have asked the community to help however they can.

As of Thursday morning, $735 has been raised for Dukes. The goal is $100,000.
