CLARKSVILLE, Tenn.- Absolutely Fun Sewing has quickly become a major supporter of many Clarksville charitable organizations.
Four non-profits call this shop home – The Quilts of Valor Foundation, Project Linus, The Center for Courageous Kids, and Absolutely Fun Sewing’s group project – The Sheriff’s Department Trunk Quilts.
On November 14, several of the volunteer quilters delivered fifty Trunk Quilts to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Pffice. These tiny quilts will ride along with the deputies to be given to children who find themselves in scary and unfamiliar situations.
The third Friday of each month is “Giving Together Day” at Absolutely Fun Sewing from 10am – 5pm. Quilters of all skill levels gather to make quilts for these and other projects to enhance our community. Everyone is welcome.
