Clarksville Roots
“I’m a lifelong Clarksvillian,” he said. “I grew up here, went to Austin Peay, graduated from the University of Tennessee. I spent five years in the Air Force and then a few years at Murray State doing a post graduate degree but then I moved back to Clarksville to my home farm.”
Bourne is the author of six books: “Fishing Fundamentals,” “Fishing Made Easy,” “The Pocket Fishing Guide,” “Ducks Unlimited Guide to Decoys and Proven Methods for Using Them,” “Ducks Unlimited Guide to Hunting Dabblers,” and “Ultimate Turkey Hunting.”
Many TV viewers will recognize him from Ducks Unlimited TV and a previous stint on Advantage Outdoors TV on The Nashville Network (TNN).
His radio program is seasonal, with six months dedicated to fishing (Wired2Fish) and six months to hunting (Wire2Hunt).
Hear Wade Bourne Monday through Saturday at 7:20 a.m. and 3:20 p.m. on 100.7 FM and 540AM, ESPN Clarkville.
