CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) Local musicians get an opportunity to perform for thousands at the 2017 Rivers and Spires Festival.

Longtime local performers will be joined by several acts that hope to gain attention of the big crowds that will fill the streets of downtown Clarksville for the 15th and final Rivers and Spires Festival.

American Floyd, “America’s ultimate Pink Floyd tribute band,” delivers faithful interpretations of Pink Floyd classic’s with massive staging and mesmerizing lighting and effects. They perform Friday, April 21 at 8:30 pm on the Public Square Stage.

Gold Zoo is a Nashville based neo-pop outfit with driving guitars and danceable rhythms performs Saturday, Apr 22 at 4:15 p.m. on the Strawberry Alley Stage. Their video below was shot in Clarksville:

Vedra is a four piece ensemble from Nashville, that borrows from country and rhythm and blues to create “a soulful blend of vigorous beats and shamelessly honest lyrics.” They perform Saturday, Apr 22 at 1 p.m. on the Strawberry Alley Stage. The 15th Rivers & Spires Festival is produced by Visit Clarksville and will be held April 20-22, 2017 in historic downtown Clarksville. Admission and entertainment at the Festival are free and open to the public.

This will be the 15th and final Rivers and Spires event.
