CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – A local man was recently arrested on charges related to a string of vehicle burglaries and the theft of several vehicles.
Daniel Kemp, 22, was taken into custody on December 8 after a police officer conducted a traffic stop on the stolen vehicle he was driving, according to a warrant.
The vehicle, a Chevy Impala, was reported stolen by the owner on December 2, along with numerous items reported stolen from two parked cars at the same address, and one other car at a separate address.
Upon arrest, stolen items were found inside the vehicle. In an interview, Kemp admitted to stealing the vehicle and breaking into the other cars. He was booked into the Montgomery County Jail with a bond of $125,000 Bond.
Kemp was additionally charged with the theft of a Chevrolet Cruz from the parking lot of the Great Escape movie theater on December 6. The vehicle was later recovered.
